Love their garlic noodles and they let me add prawns. Service is fast and efficient. Ambience is quiet and relaxing.
Visited on a weekend for lunch, and there was no wait. We started with the honey walnut prawns with pumpkin, which was an outstanding appetizer--perfectly tasty and filling. The truffle beef mushroom fried rice and garlic noodles followed, both bursting with bold, delicious flavors that did not disappoint. The ambiance offers a casual vibe with a normal noise level, making it a comfortable dining experience. Service was excellent, with the friendly and courteous staff adding to the enjoyable visit. Parking is limited in the business plaza but still manageable. Overall, this restaurant delivers incredible flavors, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Was skeptic to go here because I didn't love the previous place that used to be here and wasn't exactly sure about the place based on the name. Don't judge a book by its cover right? lol. Walked in and you can see it's been redone. Place is now really bright with new floors, tables, and seating. Daniel, the owner was really friendly and attentive and so was his staff. Ordered some dishes. Thankful we came in when we did because the joint started getting crowded. Got our food and off the bat you can tell it was not overly salted/msg'd. Beans cooked to perfection. Sole fish fillets, nice and crisp. The honey walnut prawns had bits of pumpkin in it. Which was a pleasant surprise. I realized after yea it's stated in the menu but I honestly didn't read the menu since these are our go to dishes we order at all Chinese restaurants we go to. Pan fried noodles were also really tasty. The only dish I didn't care for was the hot and sour soup. I didn't order that one. It's not on my typical food rotation but the hubs said everyone loves it so he ordered it. I have to be in the mood to eat that soup. Other than that everything was great. Small parking lot outside that is shared with a check cashing spot and laundry mat. Other than that it's street parking in the neighborhood.
This was a small restaurant but the food did not disappoint. We made a reservation through yelp but when we got there it was not crowded yet. We ordered Crab Rangoon, Basil eggplant, honey walnut prawns with pumpkin, fried rice, sautéed string beans and saltand pepper porkchop. Everything was good, not too salty and it didn't taste like it was full of msg.
Ordered pick up and it came back hot and fresh! It was pricey but worth it given the portion size and quality. I would return.
It was a chilly day in Pacifica, pretty typical. I was craving hot and sour soup. As I was pondering where to go, I drive pass this restaurant. I immediately made a U-turn and parked in their lot. There aren't many parking spots, it's shared parking with a laundromat. Anyways, to the soup. OMG...the hot and sour soup was soooo good! Ordered it to-go and enjoyed it at the beach. I plan to go back next trip to the beach and try other items.
The sweet and sour pork was solid--crispy on the outside but juicy and tender on the inside, which I really enjoyed. However, the chicken fried rice was a letdown; it lacked flavor and didn't quite live up to the rest of the meal. Service was fast, and we were in and out without much wait. Parking could be tricky, though, as the lot is small. Luckily, we arrived right when they opened, so we didn't have any issues finding a spot.
This restaurant is tucked away up in Pacifica, San Francisco. It's a small but cozy restaurant. Inside was very clean. The parking is limited, and when we went, it was just about 2pm, and they close at 3pm and reopen for dinner. So we had parking, I can imagine no parking at lunchtime or dinner hours because they share parking with other business. The service was really good. He was even honest to say he short-changed me before leaving. Honesty brings me back. We ordered five items off their menu today, 4/22/24. Everything we ordered we EXCELLENT!! Taste was definitely in each dish. We starred off with the traditional Cantonese Har Gow (Shrimp Dumplings). Malaysian Curry cooked with chicken, beef, barbecue pork, shrimps, with onions bell peppers, mushrooms, and carrots. Chow Fun with stir-fried vegetables and beef. And Crispy Salt and Pepper Pork Chops tossed in garlic and Jalapeños. All these dishes were so delicious so fragrant. A must to go back again. Probably will need to make reservations.
